• Fever and unwell babies under 5 months of age
• Persistent high fever with your child becoming increasingly unwell
• A non-blanching rash (a rash that does not fade when pressed)
• A severe allergic reaction (e.g. anaphylaxis)
• Bleeding that does not stop
• Confusion or disorientation
• Ongoing seizures
• Collapse, is unresponsive or cannot be woken
• Burns and injuries
• Witnessed or suspected to have ingested a substance or taken a medication overdose

We provide private paediatric consultations for babies, children, and adolescents up to 18 years old.
The service does not include:
All assessments, investigations, and prescriptions are issued based on clinical judgement, evidence-based guidance, and the best interests of the child.
Online consultations may limit physical examination, measurement of vital signs, or certain assessments, reducing diagnostic certainty.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a person with parental responsibility. Appointments must not be booked unless the responsible adult can attend.
For children aged 14–17, parental attendance is encouraged to support history-taking, shared decision-making and treatment planning. However, where appropriate, part of the consultation may take place privately with the young person in line with professional guidance.
Parental responsibility cannot be transferred to others involved in the child’s care (including nannies, grandparents, siblings, aunts, and personal assistants) without a court order. Such individuals may attend alongside the person with parental responsibility.
Documentary evidence confirming parental responsibility must be provided at registration (electronic copies of birth certificate, valid ID, legal documents are accepted). Failure to provide documentation may result in the appointment being rescheduled.
Consultations are conducted in English.
If you require translation, you must arrange for an adult interpreter (18+). You are responsible for the accuracy of the translation.
If communication barriers prevent safe consultation, the appointment may be rescheduled.
You may request a service via telephone, email, or online booking. A contract is formed when we confirm your appointment.
If we cannot accept your request, we will notify you and no charge will be made.
